This Is Larke. He Likes To Lie Down Wherever He Can.

Larke has strong legs and quick, fat feet. Instead of using them he prefers to lie on the ground and become one with the surface below. During the past week, I’ve caught some of these moments on camera, but missed others. (I can only allow him to lie on the floor of a high-traffic Walmart for so long.) I have no idea why he does this. He seems to be listening for something below ground. Babies have supernatural abilities, to see dead people and the like, so I’m thinking he senses something…maybe the long overdue earthquake that’s set to strike along the San Andreas fault? He can tell me, but he won’t.
