OMG – I’m also being scammed by Wells! I am too somewhat of a pro on opening accounts to get the cash. I opened my wifes account, completed the $3,000.00 in DD’s and they said the code wasn’t entered and they’re denying my money. Then, I just called on my account, opened July 22nd and still not funded. Called them, they said the there was no code associated with the account. I’m away from my office but I’m sure I kept the code used. They are fucked! I am so mad! My blood pressure is going up! They are such a scam, I would love to sue them! I’m gonna write a letter on both accounts like you did. Unbeleivable! What do you think?

OMG ! I am a singer … this is a complete nightmare for me!! I’m terrified one ‘slip’ & my career is OVER I’ve been in the profession for more than 40 years … it’s all I know .. even ( as my surgeon said ) a 1% risk of damage to the vocal chords is too much for me … you are much younger than me … of course your car wild heal like that in 4 weeks . My voice is my essence , my heart my MONEY! I’m due to go in your this Autumn … this is probably the last one I’ll do before Surgery … who knows if I’ll be able to return to full vocal capacity …

I have been given three different reasons as to why I do not qualify for the $500 bonus for depositing $25,000 in a new Way to Save account at Wells Fargo.

I will now consider filing a class action as it appears many of us have been denied promised bonuses. Stay tuned as I may need additional named plaintiffs.

I just got diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism today and came across your blog in a search. Heartening that they only removed one and that you are feeling great! (I am assuming you still do years later). I have scheduled appointments with an endocrinologist and a ent guy. So hopefully on the road to recovery soon. My symptoms are not terrible- maybe brain fogginess and some bone aches but nothing I would have ever attributed to something serious. So, yes- thanks doctors! Yours sounds like a hoot.

I can’t speak for anyone else but it’s mind numbing and quite frankly just dumb. The scoring is subjective BUT they want you to score how the previous person scored. If you score the same way then you’ve done well if you don’t then clearly, YOU are the problem. The amount of work for such low pay is insane. The blog author was paid $12.10 and w/a M.Ed they offered me $15 that’s only a $2.90 increase in 7 yrs. We’re ending our second full week and so far no one has completely dropped out. I might be the first. Good luck!

No one give away “free money” if they can dodge it. It’s just a scam. They structure the offer in such a way as to give themselves loopholes to use to get out of paying the “bonus.” If that doesn’t work, they play dumb and instruct their minions to give you the runaround until you give up and go away.

I receive these “offers” regularly in the mail. But I did not just fall off the turnip truck yesterday. My TIME and ENERGY are valuable to me. So these “free money” bonus scams go straight into my paper shredder.

Screw WF and the horse they rode in on.

2023 checking account bonus customer here….they also did me dirty. 90 days past and no bonus. was told I need to wait 45 days. Nothing like that outlined in the fine print. We need a class action lawsuit here!
