I opened the blinds this morning and saw what I thought was a faceless dog. I ran outside in my sexiest morning outfit and realized the animal was a fox with its head stuck in a plastic jar. I couldn’t pull off the jar, so I asked the construction guy next door for help. The two of us, perhaps from two different Americas, came together and freed the pup.
This is actually my second animal save. The first was when I manically swung a broom at a coyote trying to eat my neighbor’s cat. I’m far too humble to call myself a hero, but please say it for me.
Man, this experience has really made me feel at peace with nature.
